My oldest daughter is auditioning for a show on The Discovery channel called Adventure Camp. We sent a video in of her, filled out a questionare, yada, yada, yada. Well, the show called and said we sent the video in the wrong format(Hi8mm). They wanted us to reshoot the video in DVD or miniDV format. Well, therein lies the problem. We don't own a video camera, muchless one that shoots in either of those formats( they also will accept VHS). On top of that, she has been out of town for 2 weeks so we couldn't have re-shot it anyway. The show really wants her to shoot another one, and they are extending the deadline for her. SHe won't get back home until the night before we leave for Grayton( Friday). Do any of you sowalers have a camera little magnet can borrow for a short hour or so this coming weekend? I would be forever in your debt if you do. I have also sent a PM to jdarg telling her all this so if one of you can help us out, contact her and she can get ahold of us. Thanks in advance,
Chick Magnet
P.S If you have any cool ideas for the video, we are all ears. The show is a wildlife-type show that will be shot in SeaWorld next summer. It has to be about 5 minutes long, and show little magnet "in action". She is 12. Thanks again.
