I am so sorry some of you reading this have been upset by anything on this thread. I have seen this as a way to open hearts and eyes. Years ago we had people see a problem and do something about changing the problem.(Women voting...Slaves...) and many more. Things do change.

Yes, things change, & civilized discussions like these are the best way to arrive at peaceful solutions. Thanks  LW, for helping us all increase our understanding of each other's outlook, concerns, hopes & plans... for a more peaceful world.

I generally avoid stuff like this anymore, but let me say this about that.

You will never find a kinder, gentler, well meaning soul than the one that inhabits Lightworker.

I'm sure her intent was not to start this impressive thread that came to be. She was merely advertising an upcoming event.

A Day of Peace. The Topic was Fear or Love (you Decide).

It wasn't really a question. At least one that deserved the responses it received.

However, we choose our own battles. Again BobbyJ, thank you for burning that into my brain.

I didn't have to add to this. I chose to.

I may regret it. Oh well. I'm a big boy. I can handle it.

I'm not a kind, gentle soul. I'm not a real hippie. I know the meaning; I don't profess to be something I'm not. And I don't pull my definitions from a dictionary. I pull them from life. A life fully experienced by being out in the world and not behind this computer screen.

I love Lighthyear, SavvyT, and everyone else in Sowal. There's a fine line between debate and bullying. I haven't been here as much as I would like. I doubt that I'll jump back on this thread.

Let this be said. We choose our own battles. We choose to learn from one another's lives and life's experiences. We choose to put up barriers made from our own beliefs and ignorance.

Lets just hope that during this 'coming together' about Peace, that someone doesn't spoil things or rain on the parade. That would be sad. And unfortunate.

As always, I'm impressed by the passion on this site. But I loathe drama. So I'm signing off. There is beer to be drank and wings to be eaten.

Let there be Peace on Earth. Let it begin with me. If each one of us would focus on creating Peace within ourselves, and letting that light show, then through example, the world can't help but become a better place.

I will start tonight to go insearch of that which makes me happy. And Peaceful.

O Hooters, here I come.

Y'all are taking this too seriously. Life. It's just a thing. It won't last.
Go out and have fun with it. Get off the computer. Go outside and play.
And play nice.

I'll see ya out there.

dka:drink:

Oh, and I didn't do a spell or grammar check, so get over it.

Loveyameanit!

I  you dka....thank you for reminding me!!!!!!

WHERE ARE MY CALGONITES....I require your shoulders!:rotfl:

I'm sorry if I scared anyone. I was over zealous in trying to prove a point - and the point got lost. I learned my lesson.

6th - I was so hoping for once that you would step back and see the bigger picture of my statement instead of picking it a part because of the choice of words..... again.

I'm not going to directly reply to your last post because I got off track trying to share something with you. I was trying to share that I was saddened by your broad statement. I was hoping that you would take a moment to try to understand my point of view.

You may not hear this --- but have you ever stopped and asked yourself why. Why is it important that you be right? Why do you seem to be so judgmental? Why do you only seem to have negative things to say about everyone? Why is everything a battle?

There is a time to step back, and question yourself, your intentions, and the mark you want to leave on this world.

I know that most likely you aren't going to like this post and will attack me. I'm a big girl - I can take anything you dish out, hunny.

I choose to spread love where I can. I choose to do my best to focus on the good in this world - it is far bigger than the bad. I choose to hope that you heard this message - and will take a deep look at the way you treat others.

Like I said earlier in this thread - I choose love.
