Puppies Need A Home!!!!

Thanks Huskerfan for basically fostering these dogs, sight unseen. I know it was a huge hardship for your family, and I appreciate it.

I had to see these poor dogs run loose in my neighborhood for months, worrying that they would get run over, hurt, etc, and wanting to knock on their owner's door and give him the business for letting 2 sweet dogs run loose. I was really tired of having the boy dog raise his hackles and chase me and my daughter on my own street. You have done a great public service- these guys might live to see another birthday.

Let's hope everyone learns from this one. Don't get pets unless you can afford to get them vaccinated, neutered, and safely confine them. If you can't do/afford all three, you have no freaking business having pets. If your life is transient, don't get a pet. If you are gone all day and into the night, don't get a pet. Ugh, off the soapbox, going to bed.:angry:

Wow. I don't know how I missed this thread; it's been going on for over a month. I sure hope it continues on to a happy, successful ending.

A pet is a lifelong committment to me and I think long and hard about how it's going to impact my future goals and dreams. Animals are completely dependent on the kindness of humans and we so often let them down. I can only say that I have never seen a human with such selfless and unconditional love and I couldn't look myself in the face if I trampled on that love. I'm so glad that these pooches have found a home and I pray that it will be their "forever" home and that BF and these beautiful pups will bring each other a lifetime of happiness.

I am so sorry that you saw Lola and Zeppelin in a different state than I have. If you would see them now you would not believe how great they are. I have my own 2 dogs that I love so much it is almost pathetic but these 2 dogs have totally stole my heart. I plan to do everthing in my power to make sure that these 2 dogs have the best life ever...they deserve it.

Your post is probably the best post I have seen on here in a VERY long time. I think your advice about pets is right on...it is a very big commitment to take on pets and people should know what they are getting in to and not take it lightly. :roll:

OH, that's right...the puppies should be in their new home by now. How is it going Bluefox? Was it love at first sight? I know you couldn't wait to get to SoWal to get them.....let us know how it is going!!!!!
