I kind of miss seeing Lola digging through the neighbors' garbage. She is such a sweet looking dog.

I don't miss the garbage scavenging part! Hopefully she won't have to do that anymore! Pretty girls shouldn't have to scavenge for food.

Where is Blue Fox? Does anybody know what's going on? :dunno:

Well, I was actually supposed to have the dogs by now, but I had been feeling hesitation on Huskerfan's part and she has decided she is keeping the dogs for herself. I cried.

I am a very sad girl- but I am glad they have someone who is obviously in love with them. I had already bought treats, bowls, gates, collars, treats, food and more- so I guess the next move is to save another dog.

Something about SoWal- the promised items have all fallen through- but- my work situation is better than it was so maybe this will turn out the same way. I need to find the pound here...

I'm sorry you really are a Blue Fox. My heart goes out to you.

I want to share this link http://search.petfinder.com/search/...d=&pet.Age=&pet.Size=&pet.Sex=&location=32459 it has all the dogs in the area, including ones from the Refuge that I have done a couple posts for. Also you might want to see the "Wanna Foster Ticker" thread.

Wow- Husker is taking on a lot- now she has 4 dogs! I guess after keeping Lola and Z all this time, she became very attached to them, and I am sure that by now the dogs have settled in and think they are "home". You know what they say about special places in heaven!

Blue, as much as I would love to see a dog adopted, here is some advice you may want to take from someone whose been your age.
(just a few years ago :lie: )
You just moved to a new area and you're starting a business right?.
All major life changes. All these things difficult and stressful in and of themselves, not to mention if you had to move on a dime, you would be saddled with finding a place that is pet friendly.
If I were you, I would be focusing on getting acclimated and building your business. Then re-examine at a later point getting a dog.
If you feel the need for some fur company, maybe consider volunteering for the time being at a shelter.
Just my 2 cents, and I do not mean to sound like I am undermining your maturity or abilities.

Wow! The Soap opra of the cute dogs continue!......

BF- Did you see that CUTE cocker posted??? Mango is right though, pets are a bigger commitment than you ever think they are going to be. Maybe this is a sign that you need to enjoy being FREE and get your life in place first.
What is the latest on the job situation??? Did you say you did websites???:D
