It's like a vehicular mullet!!!

I would have guessed. Poor Mr. K bought a used one back in the late 80's. Beautiful car, but useless if you had to get anywhere. Many many electrical problems....I think he finally kept a spare battery in the trunk.

Sad! Maybe he shoulda kept one of those red bubble cars in the trunk.

One of my theatre kids drove one of those giant H2's. When we were in Scotland, he saw the little Smart cars and said he wanted one. I figured he was going to keep it in the back of the Hummer for emergencies...

This is the vehicle that i had my first accident in. my mom was driving and knew it was going to happen. she told me to get ready. we eventually both ended up being thrown from it.

In the TV studio scene in the movie "Diner", a commercial for the Renault Dauphin is playing on the monitor in the background.

That would be awesome for the Grayton 4th of July parade, or Sigourney Weaver could use that cycle to ride from space vermin in yet another remake of Alien.

Remember the Ford Pinto (named after a bean -- go figure, or was it a wild horse?), which had problems blowing up when rear ended? My friend had one, and we nick-named him Bean.

This is a stylish Pinto

This one is more like my friend's:

Just found it in the list...

"The Pinto is at the end of one of autodom's most notorious paper trails, the Ford Pinto memo , which ruthlessly calculates the cost of reinforcing the rear end ($121 million) versus the potential payout to victims ($50 million). Conclusion? Let 'em burn."

Can you imagine that my friend, "Bean" actually had two cars on the Worst Cars List? Yep, the Chevy Chevette. Not quite a Corvette, but sounds similar.

I love the conversion van window with the Scooby Doo stripes on the Wagon. The wagon looks like someone is carrying gold bullion in the back!

I'll have to check out the list, but immediately, the Pontiac Fiero comes to mind. It wasn't quite a Ferrari, but they did make them in red, and the name was similar. :funn:

As usual with GM, they finally got these right with lots of HP and a 5 sp manual (actually had a 4 speed until the last year of production) stiffened up the whole set up and quit making them :dunno:

Same thing with the Cadillac Allante. Stiffened it up, dropped the 300+ HP Northstar engine in it and quit making them :dunno:

I have always heard if you are going to buy a Jag, buy two...one to drive while the other is in the shop being repaired.
