Oh yeah, I've been helped by angels, several times. They saved my daughter's legs, probably life, one time when they gave me superhuman power to chase my Honda Prelude thru the daycare driveway and push my daughter back in to her seat just as the door slammed closed when the passenger side of my car slid down the rear bumper of another car, slamming the door, my then 4 yr old, was trying to jump out of, because she was scared to death when the car started and drove when I left my keys in the ignition and had buckled her in and was walking around the car to get in .

I think the angels mighta kept others inside too as no one else was in the parking area.Thank God.
She said she was tryin' to turn the radio on and it just started going. I had shut the car off but left the keys in the ignition and ran in and got her. I put her in the passenger side, buckled her up and was about to walk around and get in my side when I heard the ignition turn over and watched my car take off with my child in it.

Then watched her open the door and try to jump out just as my car was approaching another perpindicularly parked car that was about to slam her in the door and wedge her body between two cars. At that time I obviously

did not realize how dangerous it was to leave the car in first gear especially with a kid and a key in the ignition even for one second while you put them in.

The car stopped because of a huge tree in front of it, after sliding its side down the other cars bumper and nearly crushing my little gull. The door slammed shut the second I got her pushed back in to the seat then hit the tree and stopped with its side still up against the other cars bumper. I had put her seat belt on. I sorta didn't even want to tell the story as it scares the sheeet out of me and makes me look like a bad momma.

I guess were safe now to tell it since the DHS can't get her ;-) now that she's grown, 22. It coulda been more than her legs hangin' out if her seat belt wasn't on cause she was 'leavin' ship'. Poor baby.

We were both so scared. It was Halloween afternoon. I will never forget. I thanked Jesus a gazillion times

and we both shook all the way home and half the night too and everytime I talk about it.
Note to self and others with manual transmissions, not even one second leave the key in with a kid or anyone in the car, and don't leave it in first gear, for God's sake.

Sorry, about the oh so lengthy post. As you can tell, I talk too much, esp. when nouvus. ;-)
Hubba just got up and when he saw me here again exclaimed," You gotta get a grip on that message board stuff. " Ut-oh. Chongo.

Grayt ideas sometimes and I

him dearly but, tee hee, "He's not the boss of me.":funn:  I better go get some baseboards painted. Later, taters.
