Barry Manilow, Atlanta 1/19/08

I just bought my tickets for Barry Manilow at the Phillips Arena in Atlanta Saturday January 19, 2008. Anyone else going? Maybe we can all meet up for drinks before the show. I can't wait. Will be my second Manilow Concert. It will also be my 44th Birthday present to meself.

I'm getting ready to buy tickets to Jim Brickman Saturday December 15th, 2007, also in Atlanta at the Cobb. I'm still trying to get more details on that. I've seen him several times, have been to his Christmas Shows, but this isn't listed as a Christmas Show, so it might be just him.
I'm hoping Anne Cochran will be with him. I her! So if anyone is going to be there, let me know. Also- I've never been to the Cobb so I know nothing about the venue. Is there a cocktail lounge? After all I DO have my priorities!

OMG My sister is going!!!! She is soooo excited. I'm shocked to learn that there are other fanilows! Some how I pictured her sittting alone in the arena with her husband. . . . .

Jim Brickman is at the BRAND NEW Cobb Performing Arts Center. It just opened a few months ago. I'm not sure if there is a bar there or not. . . .probably not. And I'm not sure what is right around it. I live pretty close by so if I get a chance, I'll drive by and scout out some places.

No chance for me to get the Coke Bon Jovi tickets. There will be a longggg line with me at the bottom! Wouldn't that be awesome.

Hey SJ- Manilow is doing 8 shows a week in Vegas. He is taking time out to do half a dozen shows across the country, including Atlanta. He is like the Energizer Bunny. He's actually not that old. He's a only a puppy, around 63 I think.

I've already got the tickets and have booked a 2 bedroom suite. This is going to be a blast. BB's been trying to catch him in Vegas, but he always seems to be out of town when she's there. I'd take it personally myself.....
