Hey there folks. Its your fellow beach lover Mike. I was just sitting here in cold Nashville listening to my favorite Buffett tunes, drinking a beer and thinking of the beach. Its been an interesting year. Got a new job that I love, came to the beach for 5 days in June and met someone on the message board who put me up for a night in Seagrove (thanks Susanna!), spent every weekend of the summer on a boat on Old Hickory lake, and now the great job could be gone in a few weeks due to the lovely workings of corporate America. Yes, I'm venting a little but I figured of all people you guys would understand. Anyway, Ill roll the dice and hope for the best. I always seem to land on my feet with a smile on my face. So tell me... What the hell's been going on with you folks? I see its gonna be in the 70's Thanksgiving weekend down there. I may have to try to sneak away from Nashville to recharge my batteries at The Red Bar for a few days. I hope this note finds all of you doing well...

I have not met Whiteyfunn. I beleive some people from the board tried to get us to meet sometime last year (she lives in Nashville, right?) but it never happened.
