...I didn't know you were such a cook! Hey whitey...you know what? You are now the only original funn that has not spent the night in my guest room!
You are so right, gull!Y'all definitely need to change locations for a year! Let someone else do most of the work.
Actually, is Antica Posta open on Thursday? I would love me some good Northern Italian cuisine on Thursday.Hey, sweetie, I haven't seen you post much lately. Sorry you have to work on Thanksgiving. My brother does, too, but he works first shift, so will get off at 3. So that gives me some extra time to get all the food ready so that I don't have to get up at the butt crack of dawn.:funn:mmmm hospital food for audie
I hear ya! Why be a slave to the Tiffany's holiday china and the Baccarat (despite the fact that hubby says, if we have it, we ought to use it)> Ebay time?;-)And I say use CHINETTE.....![]()
Three words -- butter, sour cream, whipping cream. Yum! Bring it on!Did anyone see Paula Deen's Thanksgiving? I was drooling the entire time!![]()
Someday I'm gonna be assertive and make cheese grits -- if my Yankee hubby doesn't like them, he can do microwave popcorn.I am going to make her Baked Garlic Cheese Grits for T-giving breakfast and maybe some Chicken Empanadas for appetizers. And maybe cheese straws...

Okay...this is serious! I have a vegetarian guest coming for Thanksgiving and I am starting to stress even though I have been told not to. Can anyone tell me how I serve protein w/o using tofu? Even my dressing has turkey neck meat and stock in it. I was thinking of making some of the dressing with vegetable stock w/o the meat.
Yes- I do love to cook. I don't know where I get it from because 'ol Seagrover can't even boil water.
My vegetarian friend would always order the eggplant or portabello mushroom. Those are always sure bets and they are easy (enough) to prepare.
...what do you think I am running over here? I ain't no short order cook!...what do you think I am running over here? I ain't no short order cook!
What day? If I'm home I'll make some black bean salsa to go with the pinks. Ask Jessifunn- There is a dip for every occasion.
Will you be there on Friday? Or I could just walk down from my friends on Montgomery will we will be eating on Turkey Day!
I'm getting a visual of Miss Kitty in a hairnet! :funn:
