This is so informational. I just heard of Guitar Hero like 10 days ago. It was on Gossip Girl. I don't know why I watch that show. It is obviously not that helpful since I don't really understand what all these games are or why I should care. And I don't know why OL is asking this question since she obviously knows more than anybody else here over 21. :rotfl:

I tell ya I live in fear of the days when my kids actually have a Christmas list. My 7 year old wants one thing: A Lego Castle. He told me he would ask Santa Claus for it since it's kind of expensive. The 4 year old pointed to Aqua Dots in a catalog and told me he wanted it since he had seen it on TV. The baby is getting clothes. :rotfl:

Sorry to interrupt. Now back to the regularly scheduled thread.

I admit it, I probably do know more than any almost 43 year old mom should. (the boys still helped tho) I can't wait to play GH. Dance Revolution was getting old.:D
I love hearing about what your little ones want TFT. They are at such funn ages for Christmas. My kids always watched Nick and Disney and had a really long list due to all the thousands of commercials they showed every day.:bang:

OL, it's weird--my kids watch all that stuff, yet the two little ones don't even know what they want for Christmas. The 7-year-old got irritated at my mom the other day for asking what he wanted and said, "Mimi, I don't know yet--Christmas is 30 days away!"

In a way it was good b/c they have 3 sets of grandparents always asking what they should buy. Looking back I should have said stocks, bonds, and CD's. :D Our basement is full of the junk. Does a girl really need 43 Barbies, a house, airplane, trunks of clothes and a pet store???? Just a little of what's down there.

I always had the kids give me 3 main ideas for Santa. ( Jesus received 3 gifts) I told them they might get a few more things if they were good. Oh, those were the days of hanging that over their little heads.:D

Even with those long lists as little ones I think they turned out okay. Both of them have only asked for cameras this year.

OL! You and I live in a parallel universe. Three sets of grandparents here, too, and Mr. Pod trots out the we-should-have-asked-for-college-funds-for-them line every year. I roll my eyes and exit the room. My kids also get three gifts each, which at times makes gift-giving harder, not easier. The older two have only asked for nanos; Girl Pea says it's the only thing she wants, period. Good thing. :rotfl:

Nanos are a great gift. You can tell the grandparents to buy iTunes cards. ;-) BTW, Target has a bunch if CD's 2 for $15. We usually don't buy cd's anymore and just use iTunes but that price was really good. I think the sale ends today...they have the Beatles 1, Pink Floyd Dark Side, AC/DC and some new ones too....quite a variety. I bought Sam Paramore and Death Cab 4 Cutie. Good stocking stuffers. :)

Thanks for the info dijitil. I've ordered guitar hero for Wii without really knowing anything about it. Glas to hear the good review. Hoping my 12 year old will love it.
