Oh hail, I forgot about ZZ--mr. dd's other fave behind SRV. We saw them "Rocktober 20, 1990" at the State Fair of Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

George Thorogood and the Destroyers, when they were still the "World's only three-man quartet" in a small club in Memphis, TN, somewhere on Airport Blvd. Everybody else has mentioned some killer shows, but George, in your face in a little room, baptizing people on the head with his Ephiphone, playing the kind of rock everybody else bases their stuff on... well, that's mine, anyway.
