...sorry, it has been bugging the sheet out of me. But, it is such a great and entertaining thread!

Here's another weird thing that Pepper does. She doesn't like to eat at her bowl. She gets a mouth full of kibble, goes over to the sofa in the kitchen and drops it out of her mouth, reclines on the sofa (picture Manet's Olympia or his Le Dejeuner sur l'herbe), and casually eats the kibble, a pellet or two at a time.
The breeder says her standard poodles eat that way also. They don't gobble down their food.![]()
Jfunn, I'll bet that's the way your standard poodle eats, too.
We always have to tell our pet sitters this too and she will never go and then come in and go in the house. And our toy poodle does the same. She brings her kibble to the family room where we are. I guess she doesn't like to eat alone.
The other odd thing that she does is she will not go potty outside if you are watching. She will stand there and look at you until you close the door. She's very modest. We always have to tell our pet sitters this too and she will never go and then come in and go in the house.

OL--I have just the opposite problem with Maggie. She won't go unless your go out WITH her and tell her to go PP/Poo Poo. Sorry Kitty, I didn't know you when we got her or I would have made it "tinkle". Anyway, she just stands out there if you don't go with her and refuses to go.![]()
