We're supposed to have a big snowstorm headed our way. Which probably means it'll be 65 tomorrow. L'il Pea has always said the weather is easy to figure out--listen to what the weatherman says and then plan for the opposite. Yesterday we had the typical Midwest mix--72 degrees at lunchtime and 15 degrees by bedtime.
Maybe jdarg, John R or some of you other radar watchers can tell me if I should go to the store or not...

Yes, go get milk! Think of it as fun, fun, fun! I get so excited when there's snow in the forecast. Can you tell I was raised in the south??

Yesterday, we had the 50 degrees for the high and it dropped to zero by 10pm. 30 mph winds last night, blizzard conditions. Nasty.

Just curious, is this 8 inches of snow (something I would think the midwesterners could handle :dunno:) or is that 8 inches of rain turning to snow so like 8 feet of snow?
Actually 8 " is quite a bit from one storm. The worst part is having to plow the driveway and with that much snow, you have to do it often! It can be a lot of work.

Thankyou JR, being that I've experienced snow 3 whole times in my life some of the discussion around it goes right over my tiara.

Regular snow, the real deal. Yeah, we're used to it, but when it hits all at once, it's challenging to get it cleared in time for people to go to school and work. Sounds like this might be gradual, though.
Not stocked up on Paarmalat milk? If not, and you do go to the store, please report back with your attire. :D
 I actually showered and have on real clothes today, as in what some might refer to as an outfit. Have a school function tonight, though, so that explains it.

I can't believe all those years in Chicago haven't ruined you--to still be excited about snow? I'm impressed.

P.S. OL, did you watch "Waitress"?
