They are really scraping for attractions - apparently they will have an "American Idol" ride too!

What a good use of tax dollars. Love that it is also sponsored by "Simpson Strong Tie" a.k.a. the company that makes hurricane clips & tie downs. No possibility for bias there. :roll:

Obviously I am not their target demographic, but does anyone else also try to avoid bad weather and natural disasters while on vacation? :dunno:

I was thinking people could just move to the Gulf coast:D I've had 39 years of the hurricane training for free. But, I don't have a monorail in my yard.

IMO the biggest factor in storm safety is good ol' common sense and they can't teach that w/ a display at Disney World. ;-)

You're right--It could have more accent on the "science" part for families done in an interesting way--hey, everyone loves the Weather Channel--I see it creating the interest, but it sounds like there are marketing/commercial interest at work here rather than "educational" interests.
