Yeessssss...........it was discussed last night...so yep..we noticed. Read the treads from last night. I understand she has a driver.....Thank God!

At the end of the show she was standing up doing something and Simon put his hand on her back and very calmly told her to sit down

I'm guilty of ff'ing through most of the judges drivel. I may have to rewatch last nights episode.

And I thought Paula was doing better. She seemed fine during the audition period.:dunno:

Don't feel guilty, I can put the drivel together in my head:

"Dawg, it was kinda pitchy, dawg"

"OH my god you are....when you....wonderful.....where am I?"

"It reminded me of a cabaret performance"

I love Jason too! His voice is so simple but clear and commanding - not over the top; he locks you in his zone!

My rankings for the guys last night:

1. Jason
2. David Cook
3. David A.
4. David H.
5. Danny
6.Michael
7.Chikezie
8.Luke

The last 4 are interchangeable for me. The top 4 were great!

I get to go on a conference call on Friday with the eliminated 4 tomorrow night - how cool is that! I hope I still get Alex's interview but this is exciting!

OL: I want to know the answer to that too!

I can seriously see David A. winning this. Simon practically drools over the marketing of this kid everytime he sings.

I do wonder just how marketable David A. is going to be though. Jordin was supposed to be appealing to the tweener/Hannah Montana crowd last season, and her album has been a total bust even with many attempts to prop her up.

And now it seems like they think they've got someone to appeal to the tweeners again, and I'm not sure if he can sell any better than Jordin.

With the music industry how it is now I think it is nearly impossible to determine if someone is marketable or not. I watch the show, but I do not listen to the 'pop' music that would most likely come from winning the show.

I enjoyed Blake Lewis last year, but his album is really nothing to rave about.

he is talented beyond his young age, that's for sure. BUT I can only see him successful as a liturgical or Christian music singer. You know, one of those mega church music ministries. He would be successful in that realm. He almost appears that way already. I'm waiting to see him break out a bit.
