yeah, he's sweet but not particularly "hot" or edgy like most teen girls would like. Let's see what OL's teen daughter thinks. I mean, when I was a teen, I didn't find the "sweet" boys that great.
To me David A. has all the traits of a Josh Groban and he is not your "typical" edgy singer. He will appeal to all markets IMHO. If you have ever been to a Groban concert, you'll see just about every age group in attendance from young to old. I think he'll win, and he should, because that is what I think an American Idol should be all about. Someone who is fresh and that young people can admire. Some other singers are very talented, and just like many other artists, Daughtry for one, will do well post Idol.
Supermom, I was disappointed to hear Alex was voted off. I would be interested in knowing if she had any Broadway aspirations. DeGarmo is doing well there. The reason I ask is because she, for such a young age, had a real talent for interpretation and re-arrangement of music and choreography. I see a real future for her.
last but not least................Noriega is growing on me. His voice anyway. When I closed my eyes, I actually almost liked him.

Pre teens girls like and will vote for sweet, smiley, silly, and non-threatening--teen girls like the bad boys, but they won't end up married to one., hopefully....I am pretty sure they all can vote if they can text.
My 13 year old likes Jason Castro and Brooke.

Ok...I'm not a fan of Amanda, but she did great tonight, I thought. Brooke was my fave though. I think Kristy definitely has a country career in her future.
I have not liked any of Amanda's performances except tonight - it was full of energy, she had fun and the song suited her perfectly.
Brooke was my second, followed by surprisingly, Kristy Lee.
The rest were ok for me.
