My friend was the driver of the Mercedes. She was in the eastbound lane completely stopped at the red light. The SUV hit her from behind and pushed her into the car ahead. The SUV was going 70 m.p.h. and the driver did not brake at all before hitting my friend's car. She was knocked out for 20 min. and air flighted to Pensacola, but is fine. No major injuries--just sore and a few cuts.

We don't know about the other driver and if there is a reason why he did not stop (illness, sleep, drunk, etc.) Also don't know his condition.

It is a miracle that my friend wasn't seriously hurt. Says something about the integrity of a Mercedes.

Probably on the phone. :bang: Glad your friend was not seriously hurt and wish her a full recovery.
