Raw and Juicy -- Seaside -- Coming Soon!
Look for the Airstream where the sushi place once sat, in front of Dawson's Yogurt.

...maybe as early as tomorrow! They have a target date of opening tomorrow, Friday, April 4. Not only is it cool, I've sampled plenty of product and it is mmm, mmm, good. You must check out this green bicycle up close. Jen has it attached to a blender, so you sit on the bike and pedal to operate the blender. I hear that will be for any customer who is ..., well, let's just say any customer who is not having their best day, if you know what I mean. :funn:Seriously, the bike is runs a blender. Even if good stuff isn't your cup of tea, go by and say hi. Jen is one of those super-cool people who make this town what it is.

Yes, Jen worked until 2am last night so that she could open today. Many people lined up to give the organic, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies a whirl. Many others were looking. She has some tasty juices, with ingredients which might not normally appeal to me, but when combined, they were incredible. I don't drink many sweet drinks, but I gave the Pineapple, Apple, & Ginger Juice a try, and it was incredible. I really like ginger, and so does Jen. She has it in several juice blends. It adds a very nice peppery spice. I would have never thought of combining it with the Pineapple, but the two are very complementary, and the apple adds a rich sweetness. For all of you guys who like sweet drinks, this one is really worth the try. I also tried the Carrot, Apple, Beet, Ginger Juice, which was also very tasty. Who knew that all of these healthy foods could be squeezed into something that tastes so good? Not me. She has a few more blends from which to choose, and also offers smoothies. I saw a Mango Smoothie being made, and almost got one of those, too. It looked really Yummy!

Stop by and give it a whirl. Close your eyes, and experiment. Get something a little different than what you might normally order. You might like it. I did.

That carrot, apple, beet, ginger one sounds really good. How does one get around over there? Too far for me to go on my bike and parking seems scarce.

If you don't mind a little walk, like 3-5 minutes, you can park in the newly paved public lot located on the north side of 30A, between Seaside and WaterCooler. Ample parking, and you are not as likely to run over 16 kids as you try to back out of your parking space.
