The first day of school scared me to death, girls with skoal and boys named Broke Neck. (I could not make this up)
Has Wewa progressed since then?

I think the lucky13's would say yes, but I haven't been there (yet). "People actually move to Wewa?" is a direct quote from someone on this board.Has Wewa progressed since then?
hmmmm, well maybe they have 2 restaurants now, but the motel is still the 'only one. I go back every now-and-then for the honey festival and to see my family. Most of Daddy's sister's (5 out of 9) still live there and regularly attend the First United Pentacostal Church of Wewahitchka. A few of them are sporting in their new hove arounds due their tremendous size. :roll:Has Wewa progressed since then?
THANK YOU!!!Daddy's from Wewa! The correct spelling is Wewahitchka, I went to 7th grade there, back when Daddy operated The Wewa motel and restaurant. I stress "The" because it is the only one. Eight rooms, perfect for long road trips and fisherman of the dead lakes. Get a dip cone at the restaurant.
