Sheriff to ask for money tonight at BCC meeting

Sheriff Johnson scheduled a public hearing tonight for an additional $300,000 for 911 equipment. The BCC meeting is at the annex at 4 p.m. Johnson should speak about 4:30 p.m.

Sheriff Johnson scheduled a public hearing tonight for an additional $300,000 for 911 equipment. The BCC meeting is at the annex at 4 p.m. Johnson should speak about 4:30 p.m.

My understanding is that he will request a public hearing to be held at the next meeting on the 24th. It has to be advertised for two weeks before a public hearing can be held. So he will appear but the public hearing will be at the next meeting.
