A few McCain ad people must be sweating bullets for creating the Paris Hilton/Britney Spears ad. What a waste of money/energy when the campaign should be about serious issues. But, isn't the video a hoot!

I disagree. Quick, name one Obama ad! See, you had to think and may not even recall one of his spots. Lots of free coverage and debate was created by this ad. Elections are not about issues, they are about buzz (and I am not saying that is a good thing, but that is reality).

Some of us don't watch t.v., so we only see it here on SoWal...

If I did watch t.v., I would turn it off until Thanksgiving. I freakin' HATE campaign ads!

I agree that Obama's ads are not memorable. Funny. We all say we want a clean presidential campaign about issues, but in reality the mud balls do the job. Crazy world.

I heard the reason Paris' mom was upset is that she's donated money to the McCain campaign, and feels her daughter was mocked in his ad.

And thanks to Paris (& others) for initiating the "never video yourself having sex because it might end up on the internet" discussion with teenage son. Don't remember seeing THAT one in the mom handbook!
