Johnny Depp at Walton Area Chamber Celebrity Waiter Dinned tonight

I've put my feelers out and am trying my best to get confirmation. Cork and I did lots of research on the web and could confirm parts of the story we were repeatedly told.

So as of now? Who knows? But I keep getting phone calls.....Did you REALLY meet Johnny Depp?

I have a feeling this is going to turn into a SoWal Urban Legend...

Yesterday at 8:06 AM, wrobert posted that he had heard that Johnny Depp was in the area in the celebrity sighting post, then the most authentic looking Cap'n Jack ever shows up at 6PM (10 hours later).

With no disrespect, I don't know who Sunspot's source is or what makes it more credible than The Hilton and Chamber people and wrobert's 10 hour prior head's up. At this point, I'll be pretty surprised if it wasn't him because we sat at the table next to him for 3 hours, hugged him, spoke to him and saw him from almost every angle (I wish) and he sure as heck was a perfect match. Also, I don't think an impersonator would have the gentle and kind demeanor. He was quite warm and nice, not like he was being paid to be but like he really was. Since this morning, I've read so many things about how giving he is and it just fits. Where should we show up tonight that he might be?

I was just talking to LATB and read beachlover2's post on the celebrity sighting thread and came back to double check this one. Thanks for clarifying Sunspot. He was a babe and we've decided that this is the only time in our life that we'd ever share a man . He was beautiful in every way, even with the dreadlocks and scraggly hair.

I just spoke with one of the organizers and he supposedly hit it off with one of the chefs afterwards, and will be dining at the chef's 30A restaurant tonight. (the one near Grayton Beach the name escapes me)
