The swiffer sweeper works fine, picks up crap and works better than a broom. The swiffer "mop" sucks, unless the surface is comepletely smooth (and I mean like glass) it's not gonna get clean. I swear that the "solution" that sprays out has one purpose and that is to turn the pad black. I'm sure if you used this thing every single day it would keep the floors clean, of course it wouldn't matter because you'd have to sell the house to afford the various refills. :bang:

Agree on both counts. The swiffer dry is great for the 12 pounds of dog hair I pick up daily. Keeps it from flying all over. Swiffer wet is pretty lame.

Fabuloso? What is this? :dunno:

Use a swiffer dry and wet in FL. Great for sheltie hair. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate white tile?

I don't have the fancy Swiffer mop that takes batteries but I do have the basic one that uses the wet mop pads. It actually works pretty good. The pole is marginal though. You have to be very careful not to go bonkers with your cleaning technique. I think the pole would snap if you are too vigorous.

Yes, it does.

I snapped my swiffer over my leg.

Me too.

We are back to being a traditional mop family. When I mop- the new one should last me a lifetime.
