Yep, I was just reading this. Bristol, 17 yr old daughter is pregnant.FYI, McCain knew ahead of time.
I don't think anyone will see this as any real news, do ya'll? maybe it will be spun to make it into good news about pro-life and all that jazz. poor girl, she's going to be a pregnant poster child.

Teen Pregnancy - one issue Palin won't tackle
I, too, feel sad for the 17-year-old who will now be in the media spotlight.
Is this the kind of example we're now setting for our teenage girls? It's okay to be sexual active, get pregnant, and bring a child into the world when you're barely more than a child yourself? As the Mother and Grandmother of girls -- It was and still is my job to teach them that pregnancy should not be an option at that age for their sake and for the unborn children they might have.
What is Sara Palin's stance on teen pregnancy? Her public statement seemed to say it is okay, although her daughter would certainly not have been able to make any decision other than to have the baby.
"We're proud of Bristol's decision to have her baby and even prouder to become grandparents," Sarah and Todd Palin said in the brief statement.
We've been working hard in this country to lower the teen pregnancy rate because it impacts our welfare system, the education system, and the level of skilled workers. Vice President Sara Palin might not be much help in that area.

What an interesting political race this is turning out to be - McCain, Obama, Palin, hurricanes, teen pregnancy, all we're missing is a good sex scandal. I can't wait to see what comes next!
