Well of course it's about politics, they are politicans. That's also why the Reps in the House don't want to vote for it. They want to get re-elected. Everyone wants to share the blame because many in the country don't like the idea.

I agree, it just goes to show that the leadership qualities that I expected were lacking in Pelosi are, and Reid for that matter.
Call me Pollyanna, but leading is about doing what is right. If the supporters of this bill believe that it is the best thing for our Country it should come to a vote. If not, they should not continue to attack the other side for "messing it all up." I just think the American people deserve more than I'll support it if they also support it. Either it is good for America or it isn't. If it is, let's vote, pass and implement. If it's not, let's quit pointing fingers and continue the negotiations and looking at other alternatives.
If there are enough votes to bring it to the floor, is there anyway she can be forced? I simply can not believe that constitutionally she could yield that kind of power.

Please keep posting your wisdom, because it calms me to know someone else just wants the right thing done and is not stuck pointing fingers. I hope the gig is up a little bit in Washington, because people are now paying attention and we will hopefully start making our employees accountable.
