The trip down

I decided to do a thread for the trip down since it can be updated faster.

We are currently on Hwy 20 (I can just barely hear the banjo's over the XM). Scooterbug is riding side saddle and sleeping.

The singer 6 bobbin under the hood is humming along just nicely in the Chevy Soccer Shuttle.

Ahhh the open road.

Next stop (shudder) Blountstown!

We've made it thru Blountstown. For anyone interested Goat Day is the 20th.

I swear that town never, and I mean neva, changes.

Yep still there, T-Bell closed, but they have a new KFC by the airport (read grass strip). The KFC is in the remodeled gas station. Apparently Florida passed a law that you have to have a fried chicken place in new gas station construction. :roll:

Well we got pulled over by a Sheriff's deputy in Wakulla county in a minivan!! He let us go with a verbal warning that there were deer in the area (duh). I got bonus points for calling both the verbal speed warning and the deer warning. The speed was 75 in a 45, sorry Geo you just don't have my good looks. ;-)

Of course in the time it has taken me to type this we have passed 4 deer.

Next stop Perry for tinkle and smoke break. I'll pick up everyone a copy of the Raccoon Times (I swear this is a real publication).
