I am becoming a Peggy Noonan fan. Always enjoyed her writing; usually did not agree with her politics, but she has had some of the most thoughtful writing on the McCain Palin team IMO. I appreciate her insight.

Palin is the perfect choice for a candidate who sees Iraq as a just war. His choice of Palin made the decision easy for independents weary of the status quo.

I agree. I am willing to listen to anyone with depth, thoughtfulness and character these days, regardless of viewpoint. In the process I have "discovered" some writers I may not have considered following before. Elitists, maybe. :roll: But many of them are far from liberals.
