Happy Thanksgiving!!

Mines' just getting started! I've cooked all day. Now, I'm waiting for the crowd to arrive.
I made pumpkin cheesecake last night.
This morning: 2 buttermilk pies, 1 absolutely beautiful apple pie
turkey, dressing, roasted red pepper dip, ambrosia, cranberry sauce
Still have to put together: sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green beans, baked apricots and rolls. Whew! I think that's it.
I'm opening the wine now.

I wish I had your pumpkin cheesecake recipe. I tried one and mine was not as creamy as I wanted it to be. It tasted good....just not the right texture. Would you share???

I finished Thanksgiving funn at 8:30 last night, after preparing a large breakfast, lunch( shared with my sister) and making gingerbread houses. The bed felt so good!!!

Amazing food- most of it brought (dressing, sweet potatoes, killer mashed potatoes, cranberry cake with butter sauce, sugar cookies, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pie, peanut butter pie.

Making a new friend- she and her son came with another friend.

Three after dinner massages from 2 massage therapists and 1 who really should be. I was pretty much comatose and speaking gibberish after this.

Seeing my astrological chart for the first time in my life, and learning what it all means. It was such a fun surprise to find out that one of our friends has astrological skills!

I think I came in last...I actually lost a pound and a half... (I'm not complaining!)
