I was wondering about the "working weekends" part. Sometimes i go out of town for the weekends. Would that be a problem?

Sarah, we typically schedule 2 weeks to 30 days ahead, so we can accomodate most schedules as long as we have advance notice. Typically we all work at least one weekend day every weekend so as to keep it fair among all staff.

Hope that answers your question. Still taking applications, so please fill out the application attached above and bring it by today!

Update...350 have viewed this thread...22 have applied...1 fun person from SoWal.com has been hired already, and we'd like to hire 2 more folks!

If you want a fun, creative place where you can feel fulfilled while working, this is it and now is the time to apply. We can't promise you'll get rich, but we can provide a solid part-time job that is truly enjoyable.

Darlin' you can do this, really you can!

Just download the application, fill it out, and drop it by Fired Up tomorrow. Thanks! :D :D

As "Master of the Obvious," I've just gotta ask...only 1 hired out of 22 applications and you're asking for more applications?

I feel pretty!

I am happy to be the SoWal-er already hired. It is actually fun. I feel like I am getting art lessons and a pay check to boot. I guess Stacey and Jim are still looking for my playmate, so come on in and check it out!

Shelly, respectfully, there are a lot of folks out of work or needing supplemental income right now. Thanks to SoWal.com this is the largest response we've ever had to an employment ad, and for that we are humble and very grateful.

We simply wanted to keep encouraging folks to apply for a few more days so that everyone who may be hesitant or unsure of their current employment situation has the opportunity to apply.

More good SoWal people keep calling and coming in daily, and some of the stories are heartbreaking. Some have owned their own successful businesses that are seeing difficult times. One was a multi-million dollar producing real estate agent who potentially could lose their home without additional income.

Indeed, we've had some GREAT interviews this week that will lead to more fun folks like Amy@Avalon being hired!

Shelly, we would sincerely appreciate your support when small businesses like Fired Up are simply trying to contribute to improving our SoWal economy by providing meaningful employment opportunities for locals.

Are there any coffee mugs there?

Always at least 6 different styles of coffee mugs available at Fired Up, such as our cool new big dots mug, extra-large cappucino mug, travel mug with lid, and so much more. C'mon in and paint a mug for someone on your Christmas list!

John, sent you a PM as to your coffee mug question...hope that helps.
