Today was a good day at Modica. Things are slow but we had a good turn out for the Taco Salad. THANKS!!! The Steak Sandwich will be a hit tomorrow and I hope there is some Hoppin John left over, I didn't get any today but man it smelled good.

We'll be there after Christmas. We understand if most restaurants and shops will have limited hours, but looking forward to stopping in at Modica's of course at least once. We've already watched the Truman Show TDay weekend. We don't usually watch it so early before we come down there but we are having such cold weather here, earlier than usual.
We're splurging in June and taking my firrst two week vacation ever. I was in Dallas once for 10 days for work, but that's the longest I've been away from home. Looking forward to visiting so many places that normally we don't have time to get to because beach time interfers.

I hear that tomorrow we get CHILI!!!
I am excited because I am dieing for it right now! Ms. Lisa is also working on a pork BBQ sandwich that is from those wonderful hunks of pork on the rotisserie today. If you were around Seaside I know you smelled it!! I saw the fixin's for a Reuben too! Hope I see you there.

I know what you are talking about with the vacations. My hubby is scared to take me places. We came here on a dive trip 16 years ago, it was kind of like a 10 year late honeymoon. We moved down 3 months later.

I hate you missed the steak! It was thin sliced Ribeye on a garlic buttered roll and all the goodies on the side. Hubbie loved his and he didn't even heat it on the Panini grill. I hope you get in next week. I will be posting that menu in just a little.
