Sowal Ornament Exchange 2008

In a panic about getting my package in the mail in time; a fellow sowaller informed me that my victim was local. I didn't even realize that till I looked again at the address that OL sent me. DUH!!!

So, after I get cleaned up, I'm going on a road trip to Sowal; according to MapQuest, my victim is only an hour and 7 minutes away. I felt like seeing the beach today. Perhaps I'll end up at Shades to see the Pittsburgh game at 3ish.

Some Sowaller is going to have a package on their front doorstep today!!!



Gonna do the "drop and dash"!

With gas at $1.63, its cheaper for me to deliver it myself. And I know cheap.

Plus, I don't have to worry about breakage care of UPS. (pronounced oops).

Since he hasn't posted destinscuba received his intact. Thank you to OL for the christmas card and the candy corn that will put you on your a$$. It's peppermint candy corn and it is STRONG! Also the peppermint peeps were a big hit. I haven't tried the Buckeye chew, but I think you give that to rivals to see how many teeth come out of their heads. :funn:

Due to foreseen circumstances, ie Bucs game, Steelers game, intermittent napping on couch as my a$$ is drop dead exhausted, I will be delivering that package to a Sowalian doorstep MONDAY after work instead.

Since I will be driving from Lynn Haven, it will still take about an hour, so expect it sometime after 6ish: still time to open it, take pics and post for the par-tay.

Now to watch the end of the Steelers game if I don't fall back to sleep!:roll:

The party is Tuesday night, right??? Please oh please somebody say yes... It doesn't matter for me, because I cant be there at 8:00 anyway (we are in dress rehearsals at the Rep ) but I want my sowaller to be able to open theirs, and I am still waiting for a vital part to arrive from ebay! They have promised me it will arrive tomorrow (we'll see) which gives me time to put the finishing touches on it tomorrow night, ready to be hand-delivered on Tuesday. I do have a back-up substitute ornament in case the vital part doesn't arrive, but it's not as fun.

Yes, I know I have procrastinated... but to be fair I had the whole thing planned out weeks ago, and fully expected the missing ebay item to be here sometime last week. And I'm hand-delivering it, so...
