BR - it sounds like you had a beautiful birthday! I'm glad! cause christmas bdays can sometimes get lost in the shuffle of too much going on. Happy yours was properly celebrated with cake, gifts and Italiano food!
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY BR!! Another friend had a Christmas birthday on Saturday and she refuses to have Christmas decorated birthday cakes. So her husband goes to the store and can not find a cake that is not decorated Christmassy. He brings home blueberry muffins!!

I had a great birthday today. This morning daughter made me a birthday cake (cherry pound cake with a poinsettia on the top). Went to visit Mom and took the cake so that she could blow out the candle and I could tell her that I love her and thank her for having me.
Been craving some good Tuscan food, so Big D took me, daughter, and BF to Sotto Sotto. Yum!
Daughter made me the most gorgeous birthday present -- a hand-painted box with the theme "The Twelve Days of Christmas." It is so beautiful that it brings tears to my eyes. Can't wait to post pictures.
Thanks to everyone for all of the orange and blue birthday wishes, as well as the others. I hear ya, shallowsnole, I couldn't do FSU colors.

OMG!!! Sotto Sotto!!! I didn't know SS even existed in the states. I ate at one in Toronto ... orgasmic food. (But the dirty martini they served me was CLUELESS. They mushed up a bunch of kalamata olives in the bottom of the glass. Dirty, yes... NASTY, absolute!!! :funn
