You can say um and ah and still communicate clearly (not as well as without IMO, which was a point of contention between me and my debate partner for years), the idea is that effective communication is key in all aspects of life.

Right here!
Just for future reference, can the democrats on the board clear up who was responsible for the economic downturn post the tech bubble burst? Was it Greenspan, Clinton, Bush, or all of the above?

President Bush gets his points across. That's the critical element of communication.

He also provides much entertainment for the Left.

I am rendered speakingless.

look, what are we even talking about here? Bush performed in his exit interview/conference no better and no worse than he has ever performed in speaking ability, demeanor, (un)awareness of self and truth, and/or presentation of ideas, etc. people voted him into office, twice, with full knowledge of the man. he was deemed acceptable by about half the country. nothing new here. nothing new whatsoever.

hail, we need to give the man a little credit for making it through the entire 8 years.. resilience counts for something right? but this administration is through and that is what is important now. yay.

And some dogs communicate by growling, but that doesn't mean I would want them as a guide dog if I was blind.

Now we get to start worrying about what's coming next. I keep reading these figures on how much debt we're going to take on, and it just blows my mind. Politicians have been telling us for 30 years that increased growth will pay for the debt, but we've had one moderate boom and two bubbles in 30 years and the debt is still growing, now faster than ever. It's so frustrating. At some point somebody is going to have to stand up and say enough is enough. But here we go again, just like before.

No, a week spent hanging out with Anne Coulter should do the trick.:rotfl:I am still trying to figure out her fan base.[/quote]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Her fan base? Anyone who appreciated any of the Robert Palmer videos from the 80's, i.e. skinny blondes in black cocktail dresses with "one note" chords--that is her fan base!

....Even on the AM show she wears those damn black dresses, like she stayed up clubbing all night long? What is up with that?

Kathy Griffith has a hilarious commentary about Coulter, those dresses in the morning, and Republicans um, fondness for her! :D
