Jon Gruden was fired by the Bucs today. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I don't care that he won the Super Bowl. He was a jerk and I am happy to see him gone. Like Bush, his time was over.

Couldn't happen on a better weekend!

Y?all are vicious. I kinda like Chuckie. But I always felt that he should have stayed with the Raiders.

As for winning the Super Bowl for the Bucs, he didn?t do that. That was all Tony Dungy. Tony did all the work, Jon just sealed the deal.

If I were in charge, Tony would come back to the Bucs, Chuckles the Clown would go back to the Raiders, and Bill Cowher would still have the Steelers. (And stay away from Cleveland!!!)

But alas I am not in charge.
My only hope now is that the Steelers pluck the Ravens and go on to the SuperBowl.

However, last night when I saw the NewsBreak about Jon Gruden I was highly pithed. But after sleeping on it, and thinking about it, perhaps y'all are right.

Maybe Chuckie and that whiney a$$ Spurrier WOULD make a cute couple.

Couple of what, I'm not sure.

:lolabove: Spurrier is just misunderstood.

Besides, Spurrier wasn't known for dropping fbombs on TV (just his visor) and actually showed loyalty to many people. After winning that Super Bowl, Chucky did a good job hastening the destruction of a team that had great chemistry and heart under Dungy.

My wish was that they would have created a new position for Dungy: Executive in Charge of Awesomeness. But then Mr. TFT read me the passage from Dungy's book about how he was fired, and now I don't think he will be going back to One Buc Place.

I will admit to misunderstanding Spurrier.

I thought he was just arrogant. :D
