OK I'm coming out...I have never even so much as tried on a pair of crocs. There I said it. I feel bad now as it's certainly unAmerican and has probably hurt the economy too.

Dear Cheering,

I just knew we had a lot in common. I find there are plenty of other ways to stimulate the economy that involve pretty, not fugly, shoes.

Yours in retail therapy,
TFT

Dearest darling SWGB,

I am driving to pick up Darlene so that she can don her crocs and promptly use them to kick you in the a$$. Then we will all go have a drink, reserve us a table for 2, you'll stand of course. See you soonest. Hugs and kisses.

Warmest regards,

Cheering

Obsessively and compulsively yours,

Dear SWGB,

The image of seeing Mr. TFT's face as I attempt to run in them reaffirms my belief that Crocs are not for me.

Thanks for your (ankle) support,

TFT

i have a hot pink pair that i've had for umpteen years. i wear them to walk the dogs up the hill so i won't have to worry about if i step in dog sheet. i even have a cute lil' choc. lab charm in each one. a friend of mine's, 3 year old daughter had some awesome huge faux flowers for her crocs she bought them in atlanta at a place off howell mill. i wanted some, but i'm not sure what they're called, and i can't remember the name of the store.

Dear AggieB,

I have hot pink ones that I wear from my house to my parents' house. In the winter I wear them with socks. In the summer I wear them barefoot. They don't mind puddles or freshly mown grass. I don't wear them anywhere else.

yours hotly and pinkly,

NoHall

To Whom It May Concern,

I wore my dress crocs to work today. I ran over my foot with a piano at about 10:00 this morning. A cloth shoe would have torn. A leather shoe would have been scarred. A rubber and canvas shoe? Not hurt at all, and I think the rubber actually kept me from hurting my foot worse than I did.

Bite me,

NoHall

Dear Croc-loving Sowallers,

I am glad you have found something that brings joy and comfort to your life, but there is no way you will ever catch me wearing those pucking ugly plastic shoes.

Enjoy your pre-soiree Croc-fest,

Scooterbug

I believe they are called jibbets and are inserted into the holes. I have a pair of the ballet style and got a clear "jibbet" to put in one hole on the toe, looks nice, I think. They have all kinds. My sister has tiger paws, footballs, etc. in her AU crocs.

Dear Rita,

Those are the ones I wore today. They have even dressier ones; I kinda like these:

Unfortunately, neither of them offer a cure for clumsiness.

Sadly,

To Whom It May Concern:

I'm starting a new facebook group: I Don't Care How Cute They Are, You Can't Make Me Wear Those Cruel Shoes*!
