Thanks mk! I believe he will sing How to Save a Life which I think he would excell at but Love Lockdown has piano in the background that is quite intense - and I think he could bring a little swagger to it. HTSAL is more his thing though and I think he would get a standing o on it because the piano and his vocals would be great on it. There is also a cover of Heartless by the Fray that is not that well known and it is more rock and slowed down - that could be sensational or not good as many people have not heard it.
Kris knocked me out! What a performance!! What an arrangement!!! Megan just needs to be knocked out...of the competition.
Danny was good. Lil needs to pick better songs. Anoop did better than the judges gave him credit for. Matt was disappointing. Allison didn't stand a chance with that wimpy track behind her. Where was the rockin guitar track that No Doubt had on their version. Adam is very irritating to me. He oversings everything. Simon accused Allison of yelling her performance while Adam screamed over half of his without a single comment. I don't care what the judges thought, Scott's performance on a great old Billy Joel song was mediocre at best. Just one very musically educated man's opinion.

I'm right there with you, Analogman. Kris' arrangement was brilliant. Adam just doesn't do anything for me. He will be awesome on Broadway, no doubt. I know the young girls love him. He is cute and has a certain sex appeal, however, their gaydar is not working yet. Anoop.....glad to see he wasn't dressed like he just walked off the set of Slumdog Millionaire...but he is too karoake for me.

Play That Funky Music was comical to me - I thought this night was to show what kind of music you would make. Adam will be a hit on Broadway, no doubt about it - it was kind of a campy take on the song. I thought the only thing new was the amount of shaking and hip thrusts going on! Loved him last week when he was restrained.
Scott is the best easy listening music guy but boring.
Lil screamed.

Matt - bummed for him that the judges don't want him to do rock/pop. I liked his performance, can't wait to get his iTunes download of it - I love the song already and loved his run at the end. I get that he shines more with R&B and I think he should have taken my advice and sang Love Lockdown or this really cool cover of Heartless that the Fray did. But, I hope You Found Me didn't get him voted off. I loved that he went into the crowd with the keyboard - how cool was that!
