screw disney, it's all about Universal. I will go back there in a heartbeat. Haven't been to disney since college, i'll visit eventually, but Universal rocked me two weeks ago. Hope I don't get called out for this :roll:

- Moab to camp, bike, Canyonlands, Arches, Wall Street, etc.
- Zion.
- Salt River rafting trip.
- San Jose del Cabo, no need for Cabo San Lucas, except for one night, too much like Lauderdale.
- Cape May
- anywhere in SW Colorado

Cape May as in New Jersey? doesn't seem to fit with the rest of your list, so it must be another

Nah, that forum is actually funny. So will you please turn goodwitch's interesting thread into something wonderful again? Say something funny like no one else but you can (and please don't be modest because you know this is one of your talents)!!!

I have just thought of something. It's not exactly a place I can't wait to get back to, but rather some place I am willing--well, maybe--to give another chance. The first is Cape San Blas, not far from SoWal. The last time we went there was about 15 years ago and the sand was ugly, the water was ugly, and we had to drive to SoWal nearly every day of the vacation just to fill our sorry eyes with something pretty!!! But maybe I should give it another try and not hold onto a grudge so long. ;-)

The other place is China. Mind you, I was there not long after President Nixon "opened" it to the West so we're talking nearly three decades ago. It was a much, much different country then. It was endlessly fascinating, yes, but so difficult! Everything was met with a NO. No No No. I wonder if everything now is a YES? yes yes yes? Relationships between our countries have changed much.

OK Mermy is right, let's lighten up here. Ireland sounds good, there's plenty o' drinking and with my reddish hair and green eyes I'll fit right in.

But I'd personally like to return to a size 3-4 again. I loved it there and had alot of funn.

My sweet grandmother in Rockford, Il. does not have much time left on this earth. One of the last places I want to go right now would probably be Rockford but after reading this thread for some reason I want to be back on her back porch just hanging out and laughing about the good ol days. Thank you Paula for reminding me it does not have to be somewhere glamorous or beautiful. I think I will go give her a call.

I broke down in Paducah in an old International Harvester! Was quite the adventure!! Details later~~~~~~~~~but, if you're gonna break down, I think Paducah is the place!

Get back to studying or you won't be seeing Destin at all this year! You hear me talkin'?????
