American Idol 2009

[SGB]

American Idol has been on the blink - literally since Matt left. LOL.

Point 1. Matt goes home on a sweet song
Point 2. The following week Debbie the stage manager falls down the 20 ft staircase when rehearsal started.
Point 3. Then the glass orb/tower comes crashing down, nearly hitting the mosh pit. Dress Rehearsal canceled.
Point 4. Fox channel goes out on Tuesday and Wednesday, showing about 10 complete minutes of the whole show.

It's like Phantom of the Opera. Kind of.

Allison was awesome from what I heard since I couldn't see her performance.

Matt would have played Simple Man on the piano. Wonder what it would have sounded like?

We were able to see it on the Mediacom HD channel for Fox and Allison was awesome.

It seemed to us that Paula was lipsynching. Anyone else think that?

I gotta say - I'm still not warming up to Adam. I find I can't look at him too long. I don't know it's kind of like he's a cartoon character. Can't stand the makeup or the hair. Maybe I'm just not a rocker.

This so sucks. Danny should have gone.
It would have been a MUCH better finale with Adam and Allison.

I am so glad that Kris made it through to next week. He is from my area, the Midsouth. Conway, AR should be proud. The girls are giving him and Adam most of the votes probably. But Kris has it tough next week against Danny and Adam, it will take a lot to knock Danny out. Go Kris!!!

We were able to see it on the Mediacom HD channel for Fox and Allison was awesome.

It seemed to us that Paula was lipsynching. Anyone else think that?

Paula was definitely lipsynching. It was just too mixed-sounding for that to come out of a human being's voice.

Kris is forgettable to me and the duet with Danny was just terrible.
It should have been Adam and Allison in the finale - their duet was amazing!

But as much as I hate to say it, I would rather see Danny and Adam than Kris and Adam. Kris and Adam is a replay of the two Davids - the teenybopper vs. the rocker.

It did in a studio where it was run through a bank of computers and a sound board. That was then burned to a CD or emailed to the studio. The studio cues up the track and Paula just has to follow along.

Of course they can also reproduce the same digital algorithm to run her voice through in real time to produce the same studio sound.

Having vomited up that nerd above, she was lip synching. I watched really closely and her lips didn't match on a few occasions, plus the fact that she seemed to go out of her way to cover her face. At one point it was hair and not one, but two, microphones. :roll:

Secret Fox boardroom:

Let her launch her "new career" on the show before we can her after the finale.
