TEA PARTY RALLY

On Sunday May 17th 2009 at 1 pm until 4 pm at the Emerald Coast Conference Center in Fort Walton Beach

I am bringing together all the Tea Party organizers and concerned citizens from Pensacola, Crestview, Fort Walton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Navarre, Niceville, Rosemary Beach, and the panhandle. People are flying in from all over the United States as history unfolds on May 17th 2009.

We will celebrate President Reagan's legacy of low taxes and we will protest the government's out of control government spending.

My guest speakers include Colonel Bud Day Medal of Honor, The Honorable Chuck Bolton, Mayor of Mary Esther, Jerry Melvin Radio Talk show host, Mr. Dennis Wise the President of the American Federation of Police and Concerned Citizens (A former Bill O'Reilly guest) and I invite all concerned citizens from the tri state area.

Definitely something worth celebrating in my book. We should all consider ourselves lucky to have lived post the Reagan revolution. I've even met younger democrats who are surprised by how things used to be, and understand what Reagan did and the impact he had on our lives.

Jeb Bush (the one with sense) said it succinctly recently--- In order for the Republican Party to move forward, move center, it has to get over it's very stale "nostalia" for Reagan and the past >>

Jeb Bush: GOP Needs To Forget Reagan .....

Somebody please go and take pictures of this event and post them, please.... I already have a picture in my mind.

The top marginal income tax rate under Reagan was 50%. The top marginal tax rate proposed in the Obama budget is 38%.

You have to look at the percentage change from the previous admin to his to get a sense of just how profound his changes were. Under Obama, tax rates are going up, under Reagan, Bush Sr., and Bush Jr. they went down.

You?re just jealous because you don't have anything to protest anymore. :D The party in power must always be on the defensive, you?re the official oppressor now.

I disagree. This T-shirt has not yet become obsolete in light of the Republican obstructionists who are trying in vain to sabotage the Obama presidency. I may just show up at the T-bag party wearing it.
