...In the hallways outside, Trekkies in full uniform recruited members for Starfleet, the international Star Trek fan organization. Fleet Captain Jay Gallops, of Pensacola, and Lt. Junior Grade Chris Shepherd, of Atlanta, said the Starfleet club is a great way to meet other fans.
"We go bowling, camping and have film nights from time to time," said Gallops, 34.
Gallops and Shepherd are at the convention in hopes of launching a Panama City Starfleet chapter....
