Thanks for your insight. Speaking of keyboards...we have been members of this web site for the same amount of time and you have 4 times the post I do. HUMM.
That's mainly because when I see a "Doom and Gloom" post, I attempt to change the poster's attitude to be a more positive one. If we all
thought more positively, things would
be more positive. I honestly believe that no matter what political idiom you subscribe to, a positive attitude can and will improve anything.
If you want to exchange and compare the positive things that I volunteer for in this and other comminities, let's do it on another thread. I'll stick to the intent of this thread for now.
About your "keyboard" comment, I mostly work at home and have access to my computer quite often. Each of my posts only takes 1-2 minutes, so I don't actually spend much time on SoWal, I just have a lot to say and try to influence people with my words. Isn't that why we all come to post on SoWal?

And I'm not "drunk on
President Obama coolaid" (an overused, tired, old statement at this point), I'm just extremely glad that when the POTUS is anounced in a news story it's not George Bush any longer. You can't honestly tell me you think his administration didn't make a mess of things.
I actually think that government should stay out of it's citizen's lives as much as possible and that there should be term limits on all political offices, but we have to work with what we have, don't we? President Obama is just attempting to straiten out a huge mess that he inherited. I wouldn't want to be him, but I support him for now. That may change by the time the next election comes.
And "this town" is a tiny enclave in the middle of a huge red (Republican) county. We, just as you do, have the right to voice our opinions any way we choose. I choose to voice mine without personal insults to anyone. I have never thought in simple terms and consider issues from
all sides by watching and reading
many news sources.
