Bobby Sue is my ex, I was his 4th wife. Wife # 5 stayed with me while they got divorced. She hung out with me and my soon to be ex #4 (see, I am being nice here). When my ex #4 left me BobbySue's ex wife #5 buddied up with my #4 and sheet hit the fan. Got it?

sgg, the only thing that would make that funnier (again, not really all that funny but gotta keep it positive) is if somehow my paw-in-law got involved. He is technically and legally available for wife #7, but he would have to dump the adopted daughter first. :roll:

It all makes sense now...when I was being welcomed to town a couple months ago someone asked me "Have you met BobbySue yet? EVERYBODY knows BobbySue!"

sgg, I can relate. I lived in step-wife #1's house. We were good friends during and still are. Then, #3 came along. Guess she didn't like "our" house. Made him move to "the river". Plus, she got a big old eagle tattoo and made him grow a mullet.

Yes, I am ex wife # 4. Ex wife # 5 WAS my best friend and lived in my house until she said mean thingas about me to my soon to be ex #4.

No offense, gulls, but I've always thought that when exes had numbers that it was a red flag for dating. I mean, really--most insurance companies will drop you after 3 wrecks!

Step-wife? I've never heard that term, but I love it!

We only use the term step-wife for ones we like. The others don't rate enough for an endearing term.
