Ever wonder what the renters are up to?

Wondering what the photos are of? Look closely at the top balcony on the far left corner. That's a kid probably about 13-16 sitting on a railing that is at least 40 feet off the ground. I don't care if it's sandy or not, this is STUPID. Several kids were doing this throughout our meal and we started taking bets as to when they would plummet to a grizzly death or a lifetime of drinking from a straw.

If these are your kids do the universe a favor and stop having them. :Bang:

I forgot to add that they were hooking their feet between the railings and leaning backwards.

Here's another story that was relayed to me.

Father, mother, and daughter are enjoying the view from their balcony when suddenly a liquid starts pouring on them from the balcony above. Apparently the drunk above them didn't bother to go inside to urinate. Words were exchanged; "I'll kick your @ss" "Your dead you mother effer" etc.

Father heads out to go upstairs. The drunk starts crawling down the balcony so mother and daughter go inside and lock the door. The drunk slips on his own urine and proceeds to fall 4 floors and impale his arm on the pool fence.

Karma's a biatch.

And THIS was NOT funny!!!!!

This one is not quite as good but worth mentioning - last night, about 6:30 on 395 almost in front of Seagrove village Market, Father and son decide to play a joke on the peeps traveling south on 395 - one stands on one side of the road and the other on the opposite side - they act like they are holding a rope across the road and like if I'm stupid, I might run into this invisible rope!!!

This was NOT funny and could have been dangerous. I'm sure they were yucking it up but I don't do that when I go to Atlanta or other places outside of SoWal. They could have been run over themselves or if someone slams on brakes, there could have been an accident - NOT funny Morons!!!!! (Sorry, but I have a propensity to call peeps names that deserve it!!!)

Better yet, this was after me having been in Destin and dealing with that traffic for 3 hours - and this was even going the back way!!!

Once we got a call from a neighbor and were told that high school kids were smoking marijuana and diving off the second floor stairwell into the pool, and that the parents were inside drinking. I called rental management, and these renters were evicted immediately mid-week with no refund. Now we have big signs saying, "No diving allowed. No diving from balconies or stairs." We didn't include "no diving from windows." Maybe we should add that.

Another time I was sitting on the third floor porch and saw a very small child in the house next door climbing from the third floor balcony onto the roof. The sitter was letting her do it. I told the child to get off the roof, asked the sitter to take care of the child properly, and called the owners. These renters were also evicted immediately mid-week with no refund.

ARGH!

Actually I have threatened to install video cameras in the house to see who does the damage so that I can be compensated for it all. But on second thought, it's not worth going to jail because I know that would probably be illegal.

Even with big signs pointing out that they are under video surveillance you would just give yourself a heart attack watching the stupid things people do.

Having said that I seriously doubt anyone is going to rent a house with video cameras in it.

You're right, and you know me well enough to know that if I saw abuse in progress, I'd flip out.

Though you may capture the "amateur porn star" rental market. The additional cleaning costs just aren't worth it IMO. ;-)

In all honesty, I don't want to know. If I did, I would probably pull them all off the rental market. I'm thinking the old adage, "ignorance is bliss" would apply here. Doesn't mean I don't wonder. But, I'll gladly wallow in ignorance.
