I must be a boring renter. If you could see into your rental while I was there you would see me sweeping up sand (again and again), laundering and folding towels and putting them back on the shelves, removing trash on a daily basis, making sure everyone has a coaster under a glass (last unit had no coasters so I substituted washcloths), and finally, quietly sitting and enjoying the fabulous view from the balcony/deck.

Though you may capture the "amateur porn star" rental market. The additional cleaning costs just aren't worth it IMO. ;-)

The comforters alone. :rotfl:

Actually there's no need to launder the towels before leaving. In fact the next renter would probably feel better if you let them professionally clean them. ;-) Most rental companies don't use bleach since it grays the towels after repeated use.

...I used to be a "boring" renter, jsut like you, mommaDee! Funny how most of us treat a rental almost better than our real homes! It was funn for me to take care of a new place...I used to LOVE to sweep up the sand...still do, but, now it's on my floors. The coaster thing is an on going battle, even to this day....water on wood, NO GOOD!

mommaDee...how do you feel about staying in WaterColor? Let's make a deal! :D

I do like Watercolor but an ocean view is a must! :D

I hate wet towels cluttering up the bathroom. I use hot water on any linens. The one unit we rented had a sign up in the bathroom asking renters to wash all towels. I actually didn't wash towels there because the hot water seemed to be disconnected from the washing machine. The machine would only work when "cold" was selected. I did feel a little uncomfortable about that!
