the tie in is in the article. my own thoughts are the easily observed characteristics of the town hall meeting crowds. angry, white repubs scared that someone is taking away their "fill in the blank". look at the comments on this board. what leads you to believe there is no debate on healthcare?
Sorry, maybe I am being too general in the sense that the only debate on the floor of the Senate and House of Congress is whether or not a bill includes goodies for each politician. The debate itself may be titled "healthcare," but the actual debates typically have to do with other things.

so you are the person raised by dems, registered as no party affiliation, and love rush limbaugh?

i dont love rush, but i do listen and respect him. the man knows what he's talking about and on a daily basis ill hear someone take him out of context for political gain. for example, when he said he wanted the president to fail if he pushes a liberal aggena, the media and you certainly know who they will just say he wants the president to fail. thats modern day liberal tactics. if the right did that it would be on the front page of newsweek and the nytimes and no-doubt be talked about for months on mslsd.

todays dem party is not the party it once was. its been hijacked by far-left activists from mainly the 60's movement. they simply hide under the banner of the dem party. ive said it a million times, the last thing my grandfather said to me before he died was "what happened to my dem party"? the party of jfk is long gone
