I've got a neighbor who recently headed to the retirement home, and her house is for sale. in the garage is...i kid you not, a 1957 2 door plymouth belvedere and a 1941 chrysler highlander convertible..both in driving condition. the ragtop looks good , but the belvedere is a wine color and has massive fins!

Gosh, this is fraught with hazards for me. But, I guess I always been particularly sympathetic to situations where an elderly woman (presumably) might be taken advantage of. Even if she has Alzheimer's and doesn't know her ass from from her hat, there is probably a very good reason, in her mind, to have kept those cars in her garage. Her financial situation may dictate what's done, but I really hope that someone with some knowledge of her "true wishes" will have some input.
To all the potential buyers, if it doesn't pass the "if it were my Mom" test, some opportunities can polish your outsides and rot your insides.

unfortunately she passed very recently. i watched her drive the plymouth through the neighborhood for 18 years. i never saw the chrysler convertible on the road. the realtor said it was her deceased husband's pride and joy

I want in. What's latest on how she plans to dispose of these? Anything else of interest in that garage? Can the cars be viewed in person somehow?
nothing i saw, but will look next time. the cars can be viewed if you are in orlando and the realtor opens up the house.
