Agreed! 10 degree wind chill this am. Brrrrrr!
yep. It is a whopping 2 degrees here. I can hear the wind - ugh. 20 below wind chill. ugh.
My pup just went out for a brief tinkle and high tailed it back in.
It is cold here this morning with a dusting of snow. Winds are still whipping around and this is expected for the next few days. Think beach,sand and clear blue water!! That always helps.
Just left SoWal yesterday after a quick trip and came back to Michigan to bitter cold. Took out my neck to ankle down jacket today and will be wearing that for a while. A lot of people lost power in our town, though fortunately we didn't. When I got home, the house was 50 degrees inside (I guess I lowered the heat too much before I left...) so it was quite the transition coming home after leaving the SoWal weather. But I hear it's cool in SoWal, too, right now, so I timed our trip well! Really enjoyed the big windy rainstorm in SoWal, too.

I was snowboarding in -8F yesterday here in Mn, it wasn't that bad. The sun was out and there was no wind. Today's the high will be 18F, which seems warm after -8F. I get cold when gets down to -25F and lower.

It IS pretty bad when you're not used to it. It's such a shock to the system. But after a few years, you get used to it. Plus, you really need to wear gloves, scarves, hats, even in your current temps.
I think exercising is the key. You probably even start to get hot. I was sweating bullets today while out Christmas shopping. It's still in the teens but once you start hustling, it's all good.

It's not any funn! I get through the winter by thinking about my April SoWal trip.
I don't think I could do it. While in Orlando, we went to see Ice at Gaylord Palms and it was 9 degrees inside to keep the ice scupltures from melting and honestly I could hardly move or breathe. I have not been warm since.
I would have to hiberate like a bear and only come out in the Spring.
