A recall of Tylenol products that began last month with the popular Tylenol arthritis caplet expanded this morning to include more than two dozen other over-the-counter products manufactured by McNeil Healthcare LLC, the arm of Johnson & Johnson that manufactures Tylenol products....

...Tylenol Extra Strength, Rolaids and a number of children's medicines are now included in the recall, which affects 27 products in various packaging quantities.... >>>Full article<<<

Glad I buy generic stuff whenever available, and avoid Tylenol anyway b/c of its liver-cell-killing properties.... Am I the only one who remembers way back when Tylenol had to recall a bunch of product because of poison/sabotage? I think that was the impetus for industry-wide packaging changes that make it so you have to have a knife or scissors or other sharp object to get into everything now.

I will not begin a rant here about ridiculous plastic packaing of items like razors and blades, that have such impossily thick tough plastic that you have to be the Hulk to get the dang things open, even with sharp tools.

just wait until someone tries opening one of those thick plastic packages with a deer knife and slices off the head of someone sitting close by on accident. That lawsuit may wake up some of these other lawsuits, and eventually reduce all of the senseless waste of packaging.

Just looked at my Tylenol bottle lots # and it wasn't on the list. Oh, and a word about generic products/drugs that I just learned recently. They only have to be within 20% of the original approved formulation and with some drugs it can mean the difference of it working or not working for some people.

You can look here for all lot # of all the products recalled.
