Exactly. Which is why we should all go back to parsing what Sarah Palin is saying. now that, is real news.

I don't have a clue as to what SP is saying these days.

If I KNEW what SP was saying, I may be a bit more concerned because she is spouting whatever she is spouting to a captured audience of americans. I'm uncomfortable with her positions on issues and the way she speaks on those issues (often demeaning those on the other side of the fence from her. often without much substance or thought pattern).

Reid's words were stupid. and personal. not scary. (his statement was thoughtless and not meant to be broadcasted). should I be concerned with his private remarks? no.

SP's words are (perhaps) stupid. and highly public - giving some legitimacy to them - at least for a lot of viewers. scary. I say perhaps because I have no clue the words coming out of her piehole. should I be concerned about her public remarks? well, I don't know. you tell me.

Right here!
Palin was a candidate, so I think she's fair game for citicism. People like Limbaugh, Robertson, Beck, etc. I personally ignore, they aren't politicians, they're 'hollywood'. Reid, well certainly, he's the leader of the U.S. Senate.

SP just puts together a string of words that don't make sense when she doesn't know how to respond. And that is pretty often.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing MSNBC's line up might provide what you're looking for. I've heard there are "Rush Limbaughs of the left" on Air America as well. I think Sirius carries them.

First, let's recap the bright side. The addlepated and vindictive Senate majority leader deserves the grief he's getting for saying -- according to the new book, "Game Change" -- that Barack Obama would make a promising Democratic presidential contender because he's "light-skinned" and can speak "Negro dialect" only when he wants to.

From the Onion : "Then again, John McCain also was light-skinned and didn't speak with a Negro dialect, so maybe there's some X factor Harry Reid is missing."

I thought Air America failed? I saw a little of MSNBC once - seemed like some snideness and self-righteousness, didn't detect hate or foaming at the mouth as seen on the right press.

An intellectual form of hate.

i've never listened to air america. what would be the counterpoint audience for msnbc? happy, educated white folks? the media sells soap, first, second, and third. every outlet's viewership are confirming their own prejudices.
