Blue Mtn Beach!!
Apparently Cosmo is quite proud of their find! Most of their 'Sexiest Men' become actors or are in reality shows. They like that Scott is now a Senator! :rotfl::rotfl:

I would insert the link, but not sure I know how....it came to me in an email.

Here's the photo

I have to ask the esteemed panel here: How do you think this would have gone if a WOMAN running for this office had posed nude for Cosmo? Is there a double standard here?

Here's one person's opinion:

Fully nude or not, any scantily clad photo of a female politician would be a career-killer, but for a man, it's less important: even amusing. (To those disagreeing, I'm curious what you have to say about the negative reaction to Michelle Obama's clothes, or even former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice being criticized for some high-heeled boots.) To Mayer, I have to ask: do you think the scrutiny/mockery that the Bush twins received would have been the same if they were boys? I hadn't considered it before, but your article got me thinking.

IMO - Gidget here, I think there is a double standard. Not saying folks that I think he got elected because of this photo. I am just wondering if a woman could have gotten this far in politics with a nude photo....they can't in Miss America :D

I loved Condoleeza Rice's boots. And, I like Mrs. Obama' style as well.

Right here!
Double standard though? :dunno:

Of course. Women in politics routinly get beat up more than men for all sorts of things. Palin's wardrobe? Clinton's pants suits? I don't ever remember the press making jokes about a tie or suit Obama or McCain wore on the campaign. For Scott, this probably helped him. For a woman, I think it would discredit her somewhat in the eyes of the media.
